"City Builder"

Recently, our team has successfully finished one more Facebook game for undisclosed client. It is one of "City Builder" games with some unique idea which differs from other similar games. This project took more than 6 months for development and was not a very easy achievement for us. It is now at the final testing and polishing stage and we hope to share with you more information shortly on its official release. Our team gained a lot of new experience, we are grateful for being given such opportunity and hoping to get more interesting projects in the future.

Outsourcing Artist

NIKITOVA LLC is an international company headquartered in Chicago with production studio in Ukraine that has established business relations with major US publishers and developers. Currently we are seeking a highly-motivated, professional Outsourcing Artist to manage our Ukrainian art team and coordinate production process from our partner.s office located in San Francisco area, CA. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of all art production processes with particular strengths in environment and experience in supervising work of external or internal artist team.

Job description:
  • Become the liaison between two modeling teams in two countries
  • Participate in reviews of object models delivered by Nikitova production team to client and provide Nikitova production team with explanations and answers to production questions.
  • Make own feedbacks in the future
  • Participate in meetings with client.s modeling team aimed at establishing efficient collaboration between two teams
  • Supervise current modeling projects. pipeline
  • Make a significant contribution to the creation of art assets and education of Nikitova production team
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in computer game industry, including at least 2 years as Lead Artist
  • Experience in modeling, texturing, rigging and other 3d techniques used in computer game industry
  • Familiarity with Maya software
  • Experience in team management
  • Experience in writing technical documentation for computer game industry
  • Experience in work review
  • Communicable, positive-minded, self-motivated, and proactive
Is a plus:
  • Experience as an Lead Outsourcing Artist
  • Art Degree/similar qualification

Games Producer

NIKITOVA, a global US company with game production studios in Ukraine, is an established key development partner with many first-rate US publishers and developers. Position is open at Nikitova Kiev studio, Ukriane.

Job description:
  • Work with designers, licensors and publishers to understand and guide game content
  • Define schedules and milestones in collaboration with the team and publisher
  • Manage production, ensuring all quality objectives and delivery dates are executed
  • Liaise with the publisher, license holders, external QA, translation houses, consultants, platform holders and all third parties involved in the development process
  • Ensure tasks are best assigned to team members according to their individual skills and experience as well as to the pipeline flow to achieve the most effective use of resources.
  • Ensure the team is using and updating the most appropriate tools and techniques
  • Communicate project perspectives and requirements throughout the team, both to the top and the bottom of the company, in order to facilitate clearly shared team objectives.
  • Coaching, mentoring and training, strong effective team building and management
Requirements:
  • Work experience in games production in different positions for at least 3 years
  • 2 or more shipped games titles (or 1 games and 1 film/tv program) in last 5 years
  • Excellent knowledge of game production methodologies, pipelines and technical requirements.
  • Experience developing and maintaining schedules and budgets
  • Able to balance production considerations of quality and creativity with resource, time and cost in decision-making
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong interest and experience in work with international markets and representatives of different cultures
  • Strong negotiation, mediation and conflict resolution skills
  • Effective communication skills across all levels of an organization
  • Fluent in English and Russian
